L'horreur dans toute sa splendeur.

C'est avec un rictus machiavélique sur le visage que l'agent Francis York Morgan s'expose au travers d'une toute nouvelle série d'images, qui ont été dévoilées lors de la GDC il y a quelques jours. Ainsi, ceux ayant déjà fait le jeu sur Xbox 360 pourront remarquer une nette amélioration d'un point de vue visuel, en revanche, ceux qui ne connaissent pas du tout ce Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut remarqueront à quel point il s'agit d'un survival horror bien glauque et lugubre.

Pour rappel, ce titre qui sortira en exclusivité sur PlayStation 3 le 25 avril 2013 en Europe n'est autre qu'une version améliorée de Deadly Premonition, sorti en 2010 sur Xbox 360. Le jeu nous contera l'histoire de Francis York Morgan, un jeune profiler du FBI qui va se retrouver embarquer dans un périple étrange et mystérieux dans la petite ville de Greenvale. Il va devoir enquêter sur un meurtre, mais les habitants de la petite bourgade n'aiment visiblement pas les étrangers et ne manqueront pas de lui faire comprendre.

Fans de jeu d'aventure et de survival horror ainsi que de la série culte de David Lynch, Twin Peaks, ce titre est fait pour vous.

Pas du tout, c'est plus proche d'un survival horror quelque part a mi chemin entre silent hill et Alan wake, avec un petit coté sandbox en plus. Ce qui frappe le plus dans ce jeu, c'est son étrangeté totale, et les déficiences techniques du soft participent au trip.

Son seul point commun avec heavy rain, c'est d'être un OVNI videoludique.

Pour citer Destructoid : Ce jeu est tellement mauvais, qu'il n'en devient pas seulement bon : il frole la perfection. ( 10/10 !!! )

Sinon, c'est un véritable hommage a Twin peaks, incontournable pour tout fan de David Lynch...
