BAFTA Games Awards 2021 : Hades et PlayStation raflent presque tous les prix

Nous sommes au mois de mars 2021, et pourtant, certains prennent encore le temps de récompenser les meilleurs jeux de l'année 2020. C'est le cas de la cérémonie des British Academy Games Awards, organisée par la British Academy of Film and Television Arts, qui vient de remettre une salve de prix à l'occasion d'un évènement forcément à distance. L'année dernière, Disco Elysium et Outer Worlds avaient marqué les esprits, et cette fois encore, c'est un titre indépendant qui repart avec le plus d'honneur.

C'est en effet Hades de Supergiant Games qui est élu meilleur jeu, et qui repart aussi avec les trophées du game design, de la narration, de la direction artistique et du meilleur doubleur dans un second rôle, pour Logan Cunningham et ses multiples interprétations marquantes. Pour le reste, The Last of Us: Part II, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Dreams ou encore Ghost of Tsushima se partagent quelques récompenses techniques, même si le jeu de Naughty Dog a tout de même décroché le prix du public. Animal Crossing: New Horizons a également été salué pour son mode multijoueur et son ouverture vers le monde, Sackboy: A Big Adventure pour son gameplay familial et pour être le meilleur jeu produit au Royaume-Uni, Carrion a été sacré meilleur premier jeu, et Sea of Thieves a séduit pour son contenu live service de qualité.
